Our client is a high-end fashion and apparel company located in Pasadena. They are looking to hire a Staff Accountant with 2+ years of experience in the retail/consumer goods/manufacturing industries or something similar.

They are looking for someone with the following attributes:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the industries of retail, CPG or Transportation/Import/Export
• Accounts Payable or Recievable/Invoice processing experience
• Understanding of General Ledger processes and basic accounting principals i.e. debits and credits.
• experience including journal-entries, reconciliations and simple financial reports.
• Understanding of Physical inventory a plus but not required.Accounts Receivable experience including knowledge of charge-backs and bills of lading a plus but not required.
• Sage software experience.a plus
