We have openings on all shifts:

First: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday through Thursday)

Second: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Monday through Thursday) ($.75 shift premium)

Weekend: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Friday through Sunday) (Shift premium is work 36, get paid for 40)

Job Summary:

A Welding technician is a TVLS graduate that performs TIG/MIG welding, metal finishing processes on stainless steel and carbon steel. This is done by using electric, gas or other welding equipment, tools, fixtures, hand

debur/finishing tools, work instructions, prints and test equipment. The Welding Technician is required to complete in process quality checklists/testing of the welds adherence to the mating part as well as metal finishing requirements. The Welding Technician will also comply with all safety and 6s corporate policies.

Job Duties:

1. Welds sheet metal and/or components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

2. Ability to read/interpret blueprints, follow process routings and understand the work instructions/weld symbols related to the weld/metal finish process.

3. Metal finishes parts to conforming cosmetic guidelines using electric, pneumatic, buffing equipment or other hand tools.

4. Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment, safety issues and materials to the Team Leader.

5. Complies with all policies/procedures, quality standards, and safety and regulatory requirements.

6. Maintains operator PMs for equipment.

7. Ability to read and understand calipers, tape measures, squares, protractors and use of fixtures required to perform job function.

8. Handle and position work with fixtures and regulate heat, and filler rod as required by AWS standards.

9. Responsible for all in process quality checks, weld adherence testing, cosmetics guidelines to insure quality product being fabricated.

10. Develop working relationships with other teammates and internal customers.

11. Participate in cross functional teams.

12. Prepare/recommends modifications to processes related to productivity (cost reduction) improvement and quality by using internal CI submission form.

13. Understand and complies with all ISO documentation/policies for their job classification.

14. Completion of all necessary training, including Alto-Shaam University.

15. Perform other duties as assigned.
