RM Advisory Services LLC is a Washington DC-based firm providing auditing and accounting services to the Federal government. We are actively hiring full-time employees to support FIAR audit readiness activities for the U.S. Navy at Navy Yard in Washington D.C. Required Skills
- 2+ years of accounting or audit experience; federal consulting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university
- Knowledge of financial statements focusing on Federal accounting including understanding of general ledgers (USSGL)
- Accounting knowledge focusing on government accounting practices and audit standards and/or practical field work in governmental accounting/auditing
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Required Experience
- CPA License, CDFM and/or CGFM certification
- Experience with financial audits
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to excel in a culture with a high degree of ambiguity
- Familiarity with DoD Working Capital Funds or financial management practices
- Experience in the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) community
- Knowledge of A-123, GAAP, GAAS, or similar accounting principles
