    RM Advisory Services LLC is a Washington DC-based firm providing auditing and accounting services to the Federal government.  We are an entrepreneurial, growing firm that is looking for associates to join our dynamic team and grow together with the firm.  We are actively hiring full-time employees to support FIAR audit readiness activities for the U.S. Navy at Navy Yard in Washington D.C. This is an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement for capable and motivated people. The selected candidate will work closely with project leadership and experience high level visibility within the firm and on client site.

     

     

    Required Skills

    • 2+ years of accounting or audit experience; federal consulting experience preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university
    • Knowledge of financial statements focusing on Federal accounting including understanding of general ledgers (USSGL)
    • Accounting knowledge focusing on government accounting practices and audit standards and/or practical field work in governmental accounting/auditing
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States

    Required Experience

    • CPA License, CDFM and/or CGFM certification
    • Experience with financial audits
    • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to adapt to excel in a culture with a high degree of ambiguity
    • Familiarity with DoD Working Capital Funds or financial management practices
    • Experience in the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) community
    • Knowledge of A-123, GAAP, GAAS, or similar accounting principles
  • Qualifications
