Alumni Relations Coordinator
Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center - Chicago, IL
Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Alumni Relations Coordinator to join our team. We are a harm reduction substance use and addiction treatment center committed to supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
About the Role:
As our Alumni Relations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining connections with our program graduates and fostering a supportive community. You will develop and implement strategies to engage alumni, organize events, and create opportunities for continued growth and support.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $20-23 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an up-to-date alumni database
Plan and execute alumni events, including reunions, workshops, and social gatherings
Create and implement marketing strategies to promote alumni engagement and participation
Collaborate with the treatment team to develop post-treatment support programs
Manage alumni communications, including newsletters, social media, and email campaigns
Coordinate with local businesses and organizations to create opportunities for alumni
Track and report on alumni engagement metrics and program success
Assist in fundraising efforts and alumni giving programs
Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work, psychology, communications, or related field OR Bachelor's degree with LSW or LCP.
2+ years of experience in alumni relations, event planning, or similar role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office suite
Experience with social media management and digital marketing
Knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery principles
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with harm reduction principles
Experience in non-profit or healthcare settings
