    TITLE: ALUMNI RELATIONS AND GRANTS COORDINATOR

    QUALIFICATIONS
    1. Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, education, business administration, nonprofit management, or related field preferred
    2. Experience in alumni relations, grant writing, fundraising, public relations, or program coordination preferred
    3. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
    4. Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, and manage multiple projects and deadlines
    5. Knowledge of grant research, proposal development, budgeting, and reporting procedures
    6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with alumni, community partners, staff, and stakeholders
    7. Proficiency in technology applications, data management, and communication platforms
    8. Demonstrated organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
    9. Meets health and physical requirements
    10. Such alternatives to the qualifications as the Director of Schools may find appropriate
    11. 10 month contract – FLSA exempt

    JOB GOAL

    To coordinate alumni engagement efforts and support the development, identification, and management of grant opportunities that enhance educational programs, student opportunities, and district initiatives while fostering positive relationships between the school district, alumni, community partners, and stakeholders.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    1. Requires regular, reliable, and punctual in-person attendance at the assigned work location
    2. Develops and maintains positive relationships with district alumni, community organizations, business partners, and stakeholders
    3. Coordinates alumni engagement initiatives, communications, events, and recognition programs
    4. Maintains and updates alumni databases, records, and communication platforms
    5. Assists in the planning and coordination of alumni events, activities, and networking opportunities
    6. Researches and identifies grant opportunities aligned with district priorities, programs, and initiatives
    7. Collaborates with district administrators, school personnel, and community partners in the development of grant proposals and funding applications
    8. Assists with the preparation, submission, and tracking of grants and related documentation
    9. Monitors grant timelines, compliance requirements, budgets, and reporting obligations
    10. Supports the implementation and evaluation of grant-funded programs and initiatives
    11. Coordinates communication and promotional efforts related to alumni programs and grant-funded initiatives
    12. Develops and distributes newsletters, reports, promotional materials, and other communications related to alumni relations and grants
    13. Assists in cultivating partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that support district programs and student success
    14. Maintains confidentiality regarding district, staff, student, alumni, and donor information
    15. Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, flexibility, and strong customer service skills
    16. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Schools and/or Designee

    WORK CONDITIONS

    Normal working environment with occasional travel to meetings, conferences, schools, and community events as required.
