Alvarado Parkway Institute is a free-standing psychiatric hospital in La Mesa, California with four Intensive Outpatient/Partial Hospitalization Programs.  

API is seeking a qualified clinician, licensed or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences/Board of Psychology to deliver group and individual psychotherapy for our La Mesa site. Clients served at the La Mesa location are high functioning adults who are seeking individual and group treatment for a variety of issues including addiction, depression, past trauma, or anxiety.

PER DIEM TREATMENT COORDINATOR NEEDED

The successful candidate will have sound clinical experience in the facilitation of group psychotherapy, have an ability to provide brief solution focused individual psychotherapy and have excellent documentation skills.  Familiarity in developing treatment plans, self-harm intervention plans, and conducting psycho-social assessments preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, MFT, psychology, or equivalent master’s degree in a recognized mental health field.
• Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology is required. Clinical supervision provided at no cost.
• Bilingual preferred
• Skilled in case management and time management
