AFDC is a prominent South Florida law firm dedicated to representing individuals and businesses in all types of litigation and transactional services. The Firm’s civil litigation group handles complex civil cases, with a significant emphasis on insurance disputes, intellectual property matters, complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, class actions and business torts. Although the Firm’s areas of practice encompass numerous legal topics, during the course of the last six years, the Firm’s trial group has developed one of South Florida’s preeminent first-party insurance litigation departments wherein the Firm represents thousands of Floridians against their homeowner insurance carriers, when the carriers fail to adequately compensate their insured.

We are seeking an individual with strong analytical, writing and oral advocacy skills, practical litigation proficiency, and a positive attitude. The successful candidate will work with a team of professionals dedicated to providing the highest level of legal representation. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

• Previous experience in law
• Familiarity with various legal documents
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
