THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for candidates with a bias toward action and a track record of delivering meaningful results. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, teaming ability, communication skills and work well under pressure. As a Summer Analyst, you will:

    • Have the opportunity to work on internal and client projects across a wide range of industries and functional areas
    • Develop your personal, professional, and technical skills through 60+ classroom training hours over your internship
    • Take on evolving, ambiguous, and dynamic roles that grow you to solve complex problems to enhance business performance and build enduring value for your clients and the firm
    • Contribute to the completion of deliverables, and independently perform tasks with some guidance to deliver on a portion of the project scope
    • Work closely with A&M senior leaders, who are former C-suite executives and thought leaders with a personal interest in your development
    • Develop a case or solution over the course of your tenure and present as a capstone to A&M senior leaders
    • Foster relationships, network, and access support through peer-to-peer programs, dedicated performance managers, and informal mentoring from senior leaders

    The Summer Analyst position is based in Chicago, IL. Dependent upon summer analyst performance and firm / market demand, some interns could receive a full-time offer at the conclusion of the internship program. QUALIFICATIONS Our ideal candidates will have:

    • Undergraduate students earning bachelor's degree with a graduation date Fall 2021 or Spring 2022
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0, with strong performance in a major in one or more of the following subjects: accounting, finance, business, operations or engineering. Experience in finance and accounting, IT, or supply chain a plus
    • Relevant intern or work experience in consulting, business technology, operational/process improvement, project management, or financial analysis
    • A willingness to travel for project work - up to 90% of time depending on account and project
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
    • Problem solving and process improvement skills
    • Experience in data analysis, some modeling experience a plus
    • Demonstrated leadership ability
    • Desire to enter consulting industry full time upon graduation
