  • Responsibilities

    Alvies is looking for a Customer Service Representative to assist with a number of customer service initiatives.

    This role will report to our Operations team, assisting him with customer questions, complaints, concerns, and more often than not, compliments. This is a great opportunity to gain customer service experience while getting a peek behind the scenes of life at a fast-growing e-commerce brand. If you have experience with Shopify software, that is a huge plus. (put it on your resume!)

    This position is part-time and can accommodate flexible hours during the week and set hours on the weekend. You will be working with a small team to provide the highest level of customer service, which we at Alvies hold as a pillar of our business. Elevation to a full-time position in the future based on performance.

    WHO YOU ARE:

    Our ideal candidate will have:

    Experience with Shopify is a huge plus!

    A friendly demeanor and positive attitude bordering on the annoying

    An outgoing personality and comfortable speaking with people from around the country.

    Previous experience in the footwear industry

    A determination to WOW customers with every interaction is a must.

    Basic computer skills

    Strong work ethic

    A heart for leather boots and flip-flops

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    Answer phone calls and respond to emails from customers during scheduled business hours (M-F Flexible, Sat & Sunday set hours)

    Problem-solve a variety of concerns that a customer may have, including but not limited to: fit, returns, order status, shipping, etc.

    Work with our team to quickly resolve customer issues.
