Responsibilities: • Clean equipment and work surfaces at the end of each shift, including sweeping floors, mopping, and cleaning counters • Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations • Control the grill and cook the food in accordance with the directions on the meal order slips or in verbal instructions • Verify the temperature of cooked food using a thermometer to make sure it's safe to consume • Guarantee that quality food is supplied by following specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products Qualifications: • Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage regulations • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently • Previous experience working in fast food or quick service restaurant is preferred Compensation: $17 - $18 hourly
