    Employment Opportunity – Venue Manager

    Sanctuary Events in South Austin is an event venue for weddings, private parties, corporate events, community groups, etc. We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, and self-directed Venue Manager who is passionate about working in the event and wedding industry.

    Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to,

    Managing the Sanctuary Events website and venue profiles on platforms such as the Knot, Wedding Wire and Here Comes the Guide

    Sales and managing bookings of the Sanctuary Property

    Executing contracts in relation to booking of property

    Conducting open house events, venue tours and generating leads

    Establishing and maintaining vendor relationships

    Social Media posting for @theSanctuaryEventspace and client engagement

    Training, managing and scheduling a small team of day-of contractors and Grounds Coordinator

    Sending Thank You cards to our amazing clients!

    Proceeds from bookings at Sanctuary Events support The Amala Foundation. The Amala Foundation is a non-profit organization cultivating cultures of belonging through community building, and the teaching & practice of wellbeing. The Venue Manager is an employee of the Amala Foundation.

    32 hours per week

    Flexible Schedule

    $40,000 salary plus commission

    Paid health and dental

    4% 401k matching

    $100 per month wellness credit

    Paid Vacation and Sick Time

    Weekend work required

    Is the Venue Manager position the position for you?

    To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated, reliable, accountable, self-

    aware, and HIGHLY organized. You must have strong sales and customer service skills, experience with Google Suites and Microsoft Office, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience using Honeybook or other booking platform is a plus!
