Amalgamated Life is looking for an enthusiastic, seasoned Cloud Architect to join our IT development team focused on Salesforce and AWS Cloud. The architect will collaborate with a team of engineers, leads and business managers to deliver quality solutions. * Seasoned Architect/Lead developer with the ability to make architecture and design decisions and tradeoffs for solution architecture that looks across the applications landscape. * Execute technology modernization projects, including migration to cloud-native and API Strategy * Provide architectural strategy and subject matter expertise in Salesforce and AWS Cloud. * Provide technology proof of concepts to ensure the feasibility of architecture solutions and be confident in developing and maintaining end-to-end working solutions. * Experience working with Call Center application implementations, including IVR, Chat, and digital channels support with AWS Connect or equivalent Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required * 10+ years of hands-on experience in solution, application, and architecture applied to multiple large-scale enterprise systems. * 3+ years of development/architecture experience in Salesforce Cloud / Service /Apex / Salesforce integrations * Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and implementing Salesforce.com from scratch. Hands-on implementation experience in Lightning Aura Framework and LWC. * 2+ years of AWS Cloud experience Hands-on experience working with AWS services EC2, S3, EKS, OpenShift, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, CFT, etc., * 2+ years of large-scale digital transformation & AWS Cloud migration hands-on experience with multiple technology areas like API, Microservices, Event Streaming, Logging & Monitoring, Databases (SQL, NOSQL), Containers, Serverless Frameworks, AI & ML etc.), DevOps * Experience in putting necessary guardrails and using best practices. * Experience with Insurance is preferred, and the ability to work from the White Plains office is a must.
