Job Description

We are in search of focus driven individuals, to work in a fast paced environment with a team of like-minded people at our Manassas, VA. location.

The average schedule is five days per week, including a Saturday or Sunday every week, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., a minimum of 8 hours per day. Drivers are paid weekly, with a STARTING rate of $180/day. We are also seeking part-time employees - to work 8 hour days, a few days a week.

If hired, you would be working for a Contracted Service Provider (CSP) for FEDEX GROUND. Applicants MUST pass a background check and drug screening.

No experience required. We WILL train you.

The potential candidate would be trained to work safely in a package truck to deliver goods to customers, and to meet the delivery standards within the FEDEX policies and DOT federal rules and regulations. The driver will be subjected to a training course and MUST pass all on-line and on-hand exams (safety program, road test & driving course). This is a PAID training course @ $130/day held at the Manassas, VA. location.

The potential candidate must be able to obtain, hold, and maintain a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and a DOT Medical Card for the duration of their employment. Must have basic knowledge, understanding of and abide by all traffic laws.

Candidates must understand and be able to handle, move and maneuver up to 70+ pounds but no more than 150 pounds, with a hand-truck. Understand we bend, stoop, squat, sweat, hustle and climb in and out of our trucks up to 200+ times a day, in all weather conditions.
