Amara by the sea is a Beauty and Wellness Spa with a serene and nurturing environment. We are looking for ONE such 5 star esthetician to complete our team. As an esthetician, you will introduce clients to a variety of skincare products, services and work with them to achieve their skin health goals. Clients will rely on you for skin care product recommendations and treatments, including facial massage and waxing. This is a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurial-minded person to develop their skill set and help people live their best lives.

Responsibilities

Provide skin and body treatments including full body waxing, clinical and luxury facials, tinting, lash lifts and brow laminations

Advise clients on skin care options and best practices

Greet clients in a warm and friendly manner and develop rapport

Maintain an organized schedule, including scheduling, confirming, and canceling appointments

Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are cleaned and maintained to meet or exceed safety standards

Qualifications

Valid esthetician’s license

2 years experience as an esthetician

Experience in the use of skin care equipment such as Diamondglow or Hydrafacial is preferred but not required

Deep understanding of skin care techniques

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High level of ethics

Extensive knowledge of products, ingredients and the biology of the skin's structure and how to correct, prevent and protect from damage.

Comfortable educating clients with homecare and treatment recommendations. This includes following up with clients via phone calls or emails.

Must be able to perform all beauty treatments such as lash lifts, tinting, waxing and brow laminations.

Must be able to both work well independently as well as working with our team

Must be organized and be sufficient with admin work on our booking software, answering phone calls and emails

Must have an outgoing personality with a spa environment voice and demeanor.
