Amazon Channel Head
Location: Wayne, NJ
Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 base plus commission
Work Schedule: Full-time, Onsite

Position Overview
We’re hiring a strategic Amazon Channel Head to lead and grow our Amazon business while managing a team of 5 Brand Managers. This person will oversee advertising, product listings, inventory, account health, and profitability across Amazon and other online marketplaces. Must-haves include hands-on Amazon Seller & Vendor Central expertise, proven track record managing a large P&L, success in running high-ROI ad campaigns, strong inventory and supply chain knowledge, and experience leading a team.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
- Build and execute the Amazon plan to hit sales and profit goals.
 - Identify new growth opportunities (new products, categories, or promotions).
 
Financial Ownership
- Own the Amazon P&L: revenue, ad spend, fees, and margins.
 - Monitor results and adjust strategy when targets aren’t met.
 
Team Leadership
- Manage 5 Brand Managers and support teams (ads, content, replenishment, logistics).
 - Set goals, review performance, and coach team members.
 
Advertising & Marketing
- Oversee Amazon ads (PPC/DSP), promotions (Coupons, Deals), and enhanced content (A+ pages, video, Brand Store).
 - Ensure listings are optimized for keywords, conversion, and compliance.
 
Inventory & Logistics
- Ensure products stay in stock without overstocking.
 - Coordinate with supply chain on shipments, lead times, and warehouse planning.
 
Catalog & Data Accuracy
- Keep product listings clean, correct, and optimized.
 - Fix catalog errors, maintain variations, and prevent suppressed listings.
 
Account Health & Compliance
- Monitor violations, feedback, and customer issues.
 - Create strong appeal plans when issues arise and put in place long-term fixes.
 
Reporting & Improvement
- Build dashboards to track performance (sales, ad costs, inventory health, returns).
 - Use reports like Brand Analytics and Search Query Performance (which show what customers search for) to improve results.
 - Run regular business reviews with your team to check progress, spot risks, and adjust plans.
 
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience managing Amazon businesses (Seller Central and/or Vendor Central).
 - Proven ability to grow revenue and profit while keeping costs under control.
 - Leadership experience managing brand managers or account managers.
 - Strong skills in Amazon ads, listing optimization, and product launches.
 - Analytical thinker who makes decisions based on data.
 - Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
 
Must-Haves
- Direct Amazon P&L ownership (sales + profit responsibility).
 - Hands-on Seller & Vendor Central expertise.
 - Prior leadership of 5+ team members.
 - Strong track record with ads, inventory planning, and compliance.
 - Proven ability to drive measurable sales growth.
