    Role & Responsibility

This Superintendent role presents the opportunity to be a part of the construction of a $90M, 7-story, multi-use project in downtown Eugene. The first three floors of this building are post-tension concrete for the parking garage and retail space, and the upper floors are wood-framed apartments with amenity spaces. This project will be followed by a similar $60M project. Each of these buildings will feature high-level finishes and are being designed by Sera, a Portland-based architecture and design firm.

To ensure your success in the management of these projects, you must have a keen understanding of the intricacies of teamwork, complex collaboration, and trust-building. Your natural leadership skills provide management in all aspects of the construction project. Documenting RFI’s, time cards, daily reports, and equipment logs is second nature to you.

You can easily adapt to the circumstances, size, and complexity of each project. Problem solving and effectively communicating are valuable skills that further ensure the success of the construction effort. You are able to see the “big picture” without compromising the details, both big and small.
