Role & Responsibility
As a qualified candidate in the role of estimator, you have a firm understanding of architectural plans, details, and specifications and are able to see in three dimensions from two dimensional data. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Master Builder, and Timberline) is key to your success in this role. Strong communication skills are a valuable asset as you communicate any problems and lend your problem solving skills to proactively resolve any difficulties in the project. You are confident in your ability to prepare proposals and participate in presentations to the client. You skillfully manage RFI and submittal process and you oversee the revision to scope process from estimate to change order signing. Knowledge of building materials, industry and company specific, is a must! You are a team player who takes feedback constructively and who fosters an enthusiastic, creative, “can do” attitude.
