Role & Responsibility
As a project engineer, you are highly skilled in construction management, engineering, or building science. You are there to support the project manager and superintendent to ensure that the team is putting all of their strengths together for the best quality result. You are very familiar with reading and interpreting architectural designs. You can confidently issue RFP’s and distribute plan documents to obtain bids from subcontractors and compare subcontractor bids. A general working knowledge of Sage 300 CRE PM and Cost Controlling Modules would prove valuable. Proficiency with MS Office Suite is a must! Communication skills are essential as you coordinate with consultants, building officials, and planners. Knowing how to skillfully use web-based solutions such as Smartsheet, ShareFile, Slack, Asana is preferred. Your ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances is a key to project success.
