    Amber Chemical is seeking to hire a personable, yet highly professional customer service extraordinaire to join our team. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be part of the supportive Amber Chemical team to provide quality service to ensure customer needs are met. The CSR is a self-starter who provides exceptional service while answering phones, handling customer window transactions, performing general administrative duties, and other related duties as assigned.

    SAMPLE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Check-in drivers’ arrival to pick up or deliver chemical products, visitors, and third-party vendors.
    • Accept and process weekly customer product orders.
    • Input delivery ticket(s) order information into the Sage 100 system.
    • Answer incoming telephone calls, greet people at the counter and promptly return customer e-mail inquiries.
    • Printing shipping labels for deliveries and warehouse personnel as needed.
    • Notify or update customers about delivery changes or discrepancies.
    • Complete and verify all Proof of Delivery document information for direct shipments.
    • Verify customer orders have been shipped or delivered as specified.
    • Generate new delivery tickets.
    • Perform journal work, including posting data or keeping other records concerning costs of goods or services or the shipment of goods.
    • Receive and match invoices to open purchase and freight orders.
    • Review and verify accuracy of product to price.
    • Input standard invoices and purchase orders into the shared information management system.
    • File open and paid invoices and review aging of all invoices.
    • Issue and mail checks to vendors per ACI policy.
    • Assist with providing the month end purchasing clearing report to Management.
    • Other related duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 1+ years in a customer support position
    • Ability to build rapport with customers
    • Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills
    • Positive and professional demeanor
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to solve problems logically and critically

    WORK HOURS & CONDITIONS

    • Work indoors in a controlled climate.
    • 8 hours Monday through Friday, working on weekends as needed.
    • Overtime Hours as needed.
