We have an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Service Technician / Journeyman Electrician in and around Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area. If you are reliable, conscientious and have 5+ years’ experience running a van/truck servicing commercial and/or light industrial customers, Amber would like to speak to you! As a successful candidate, you have well-rounded electrical skills and have 5 or more years of experience as a Commercial Service Electrician making service calls at commercial and/or light-industrial sites. Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair electrical systems according to safety standards • Configure, install, and maintain complex electrical systems • Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and schematics • Prepare sketches and diagrams to document electrical jobs • Install control and distribution devices such as relays, switches, RPPs, etc. • Establish power to electrical units like PDUs, motors, and appliances • Test equipment for proper functioning and safety hazards • Ensure the protection of personnel and customers on the job • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work in the evenings and weekends • Possess excellent communication skills and interact professionally with customers and vendors • Climb ladders and maneuver stairs with ease • Have the capability to carry out jobs alone or with a crew Qualifications: • Valid Driver's License • Good driving record • Clear Background Check • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Active Texas Journeyman’s or Master license • 8+ years’ commercial and/or light-industrial service experience as a Journeyman • Knowledge of blueprints, specifications, codes, and regulations • Good communication skills and problem-solving skills • The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize issues • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs • Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics with ease Compensation: $34 - $40 hourly
