We’re looking for a creative, self-motivated user experience expert who can help bring a world-class sensibility to the unfolding world of NFTs and Web3.

At Amberfi, we've created the first marketplace SDK in Web3, enabling brands to create their own custom NFT storefronts with secure content delivery. We also are launching our own NFT marketplace next year — and we don’t want it to look like every other NFT marketplace out there.

We’re a small but super-talented team that works together remotely and collaboratively (using Zoom, Slack, Telegram) in a fun, fast-paced environment while keeping focused on our big vision. Far from the first generation of NFT marketplaces, this will be a dynamic place for a wide variety of creative content and diverse media formats.

This is a hands-on position where you can help build the front end of the next-gen Web. In this role you’d work with internal stakeholders and conduct user testing to make sure our offering resonates with the community. We’re looking for a style that’s accessible, functional, appealing, attractive, user-centric and where the digital assets are the star of the show, rather than an UI that’s overly busy, fussy, or artsy.

As a User Experience Designer, you will play a key role in our go-to-market strategy by defining a digital shopping experience on the Web and in mobile that is fresh, increases engagement and boosts conversions. The goal is to simplify and abstract away the complexities of crypto and Web3 in a way that brings in thousands of new users each day and that delights collectors and fans of brands.

You’ll be involved in all aspects of the product development process, from brainstorming to launch, and will work closely with internal teams to conceptualize, design, prototype, test and iterate products across multiple interfaces.

Our ideal candidate will work toward innovative, forward-thinking user experiences by testing creative assumptions against hard data – that is, what do actual users think of the solutions you and the team will be generating before we roll them out to the masses? When expectations and results don’t align, you’re willing to roll up your sleeves and try a different approach.

Your responsibilities:

• Design NFT-focused marketplace and brand experiences for Web, mobile app & mobile web
• Own significant UX/UI design responsibilities for Amberfi
• Own and execute large-impact projects as the project manager
• Work to develop and refine user-centered design processes and best practices
• Develop detailed deliverables to effectively communicate UX designs and product requirements
• Prototype design concepts at varying levels of fidelity, from wireframes to interactive digital prototypes, using industry standard prototyping tools
• Maintain knowledge of user interface processes, tools and best practices
• Keep up with multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and be able to manage your schedule and workflow
• Participate in internal presentations for team members, partners or other stakeholders to share designs and ideas in a confident way

Your background and skills:

• 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design
• 1+ years of experience in mobile design
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Familiarity with HTML / CSS (no specialized knowledge of Solidity or Web3 languages required)
• Strong conceptual thinker with an ability to understand user’s needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables
• A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to contribute to a multi-discipline team
• Highly developed organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks independently
• Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to the changing needs of a fast-paced startup
• Clear and effective written/verbal communication
• Self-starter with good judgment who can think strategically
• Positive team player with a let’s-do-this attitude
• Experience with e-commerce or bidding sites is a bonus but not required

COMPENSATION

Attractive compensation that includes competitive salary and stock options at early-stage tech startup with massive growth potential. We are also planning a token launch in which employees will be issued tokens. We will phase in benefits over time.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

• Full-time position
• Remote office setting (we are a 100% remote team with team members around the globe)
• Close collaboration on a daily basis with rest of team
