    REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Director, Chapter Quality Improvement Initiatives

    BASIC FUNCTION: Provide day to day management and support of the Chapter Quality Network (CQN) Improving Immunization Rates for Adolescent 2 (IIRA2) Learning Collaborative to build chapter capacity to engage in quality work to improve immunization rates for teens.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1.  Provide project management support for all aspects of CQN IIRA2 project, including design of project, facilitation of trainings, webinars and meetings. Produce and maintain agendas, meeting minutes, attendance records and other documentation required for proper implementation of project. 

    2.  Maintain timeline and report documentation according to grant requirements.  Facilitate and contribute to the development of management and grant reports as required.

    3.  Coordinate project development activities, including chapter proposals and selection, design meetings, background research and subject matter expert interviews. Contribute to development and refinement of key drivers and project measures.

    4.  Work with staff and project team to develop data collection and reporting strategy.  Support practice adoption of selected data collection process.

    5.  Manage webinar technology, travel arrangements, accommodations and event planning for project activities.

    6.  Coordinate development, implementation, and review of chapter applications by writing the application and managing the application process in addition to coordinating and managing the selection committee, scoring and review process.

    7.  Draft and manage the various applications, approvals and certifications required by the project, including Continuing Medical Education (CME), Institutional Review Board (IRB), and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) with assistance as appropriate.

    8.  Plan and manage scheduled national project team meetings to develop curriculum and identify areas of focus and support for chapter teams with support from Quality Improvement Coach (QIC) and the Quality Improvement Advisor (QIA).

    9.  Work with QIC to plan for and participate in monthly calls with Chapter Leads to monitor progress of project. 

    10. Participate in monthly practice webinars with each chapter to monitor progress and serve as liaison to national team. Contribute to monthly practice webinar summary as needed.

    11. Ensure bi-monthly practice narrative questions are reviewed and ensure distribution and completion.

    12. Coordinate work with QIC and QIA to ensure consistency and timeliness of information and resources.

    13. Facilitate the development of webinar presentations (ie, final proofreading, referencing and formatting) for learning sessions, trainings, and chapter webinars.

    14. Manage collaborative online workspace and train and support chapter staff and project participants to effectively utilize the workspace.

    15. Manage curriculum development activities and documents and publish documents to collaborative workspace.

    16. Manage closeout activities, including the development of summary reports, academic posters and published articles that include project activities and project data.  Update the CQN Adolescent Immunization change package based on project learnings and outcomes.

    17. Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION: 

    Bachelor’s degree in public health, business, healthcare administration or related discipline is required, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.

    EXPERIENCE:  

    At least three years’ related project coordination and/or management experience required, including development of presentations, reports and various written correspondence. Previous work in public health systems, health/medical education, or quality improvement is preferred, as well as understanding of information technology, particularly within a healthcare setting.  

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

    Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to independently prepare and follow through on action items from meetings and conference calls. Must pay close attention to detail, take initiative, work both independently and as part of a team, be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and collaborate effectively with various internal and external constituents in order to maintain strong working relationships and build consensus. Strong technical acumen essential with proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with collaborative workspace tools (eg, SharePoint), and the ability to learn and apply new technologies.  experience with virtual meeting platforms (eg, WebEx) preferred. Some evening/weekend work and travel required.
