What You'll Be Doing

• Renewing A LOT of leases. We own 11,000+ homes and counting. You will have the opportunity to renew a lot of leases and make a lot of money doing so.
• Driving top line revenue. No property management company or operation can be successfully without a finely-turned renewal process. Your efforts will have a major impact on the rents collected and revenue for American Avenue Property Management.
• Sales. This is a sales role in a company with a strong sales culture which when combined with great technology can yield incredible results. You will communicate with residents regarding their lease renewal options, addressing any concerns and providing guidance on rental rates and terms.
• Help Build A Best in Class Renewals Operation. As an early employee you will have the opportunity to help build the best renewals operation in the country. You will have a voice in the systems we build and the process we put in place.

Representing the Fund. You will be the face and voice of American Avenue Property Management in the markets you cover. You will gain real experience in private equity and how a real estate fund works.

Performance measured in part by these KPIs:

• Renewal %: You will be in charge of renewing as many of your assigned properties and residents as you balance renewal % with rent growth and a great resident experience.
• Rent Growth: You will help us balance renewal % with strong rent growth and a great resident experience.
• Customer Experience: You will provide an A+ experience for everyone you interact with both inside and outside American Avenue Property Management.
• American Avenue Property Management reputation : TBD eval method. Do The Right Thing. Be fair, be tough, be loved.

The Skills & Experience We're Looking For

• High Volume Residential Leasing or Renewals Experience. You have a minimum of two years of high volume leasing experience. You have been the top performer wherever you have been.
• Top Level Producer. You produce. No matter. You have consistently shown yourself to be one of the top producers in whatever you are selling.
• Proactive Mindset. You have a strong bias towards action. You know it might be the first, fourth or sixth call or text message that gets the deal done. You have a true passion for sales and leasing.
• Dealmaker's hunger. You. Win. Every. Deal. And you love that. Each time the phone rings, you can't help but leap at the chance to make a deal.
• Champion's mindset. You hunger to win. You burn when you don't. And when you get knocked down, you dust off, pick yourself up, and get right back after it.
• Grittiness. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on. You persevere when others fall away.
• Technology is your tool. You constantly evaluate how your efforts can be massively leveraged by technology, from simple spreadsheets and macros to APIs and enterprise-grade software. You communicate your ideas and requirements to engineers crisply and coherently so they can build the best tools quickly.
