  • Responsibilities
    1. Conduct analyses, pricing studies, and risk assessments for value-based contracting strategies
    2. Develop models to support the analysis of new business strategies and VBC risk arrangements
    3. Monitor and evaluate value based program performance
    4. Communicate findings, risks, and opportunities through written reports and presentations to corporate leadership
    5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization
    6. Lead projects and work collaboratively with other departments
    7. Must be able to review, interpret and analyze data from multiple sources to determine financial and/or pricing impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management and key stakeholders throughout organization
    8. Previous experience on a team supporting value-based risk models for variety of stakeholders is desirable.
    9. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
    10. Strong organizational and prioritization skills are necessary.

    Required Skills

    QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING:

    One - three years of healthcare actuarial experience

    Passed 2 actuarial exams

    Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)

    Experience with financial modeling, risk adjustment, and benchmarking

    Strong leadership, presentation, communication (written/verbal) and information gathering and the ability to interact with various client groups

     

    LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS/EDUCATION:

    B.S degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related degree

    Required Experience
