This position will report to ACP’s manager of research and analysis. The intern will be tasked with a variety of research and analytical projects during their time with the organization. These projects will range from collecting project characteristics for operating and planning wind, solar, and battery storage power plants to analyzing and summarizing electricity market activity. Often, the position will provide research support to larger team projects serving ACP’s advocacy or member service activities. The intern will gain a robust understanding of clean electricity markets and its participants in addition to acquiring or significantly improving Excel skills.Basic Qualifications:Majoring in a economics or related field, still enrolled in college with an interest in clean energy.Job ConditionsWith ACP’s exciting and ambitious agenda, this job is likely to include challenging work that will sometimes need to be completed on a tight deadline.
