SUMMARY

National manufacturing trade association seeks a Legislative Correspondent familiar with federal and state legislative processes to work in a collaborative environment.  This position is part-time and hours can be flexible.  Knowledge of and experience with software programs designed to track legislation and report the status of legislation is helpful.  The work will focus on tracking legislation, developing a platform for communicating the status of legislation, and maintaining up-to-date information on the progress of bills of interest.  This position reports directly to the Vice President of Government Affairs.

ABOUT AMERICAN COATINGS ASSOCIATION (ACA):

ACA is a voluntary, nonprofit organization working to advance the needs of the paint and coatings industry and the professionals who work in it. Through advocacy of the industry and its positions on legislative, regulatory, and judicial issues at the federal, state and local levels, it acts as an effective ally ensuring that the industry is represented and fairly considered. The association focuses on advancements in science and technology through its technical conferences and journals, and offers essential business information to members through its publications, surveys, and business programs.

EMPLOYMENT & SALARY

This is a part time position (average of 10 hours weekly).  Salary is dependent on experience, but within a range of $19-$23/hour.
