    Director of Human Resources- Interim/Perm-

    The Human Resources Director is a strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer and other leadership team members. Provides direction to management on human resources related issues, including but not limited to employee relations, labor relations, performance management, training, HR policies and compensation. Responsible for compliance of human resources policies and procedures. Ensures human resource practices are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. Understands the importance of the employee experience, and actively works to create a culture of inclusion and connection. Serves as a role model for professional and ethical behavior through HR competence, coworker advocacy and support of the organization’s mission and values.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources related field preferred
    • Preferred PHR, SPHR, or SHRM or SHRM-CP certifications
    • Active membership/affiliation in state and/or national human resource organizations preferred

    Experience:

    • Five years of experience in Human Resources with working knowledge of federal and state employment law, benefits, compensation and performance management.
    • Must have HR leadership within the healthcare industry.
    • Supervisory experience preferred.
    • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of employment related to human resources.
    • Working knowledge of EEOC, workers compensation and unemployment regulations.
    • Able to analyze and problem-solve.
    • Able to communicate appropriately with diverse staff, recognizing individuality, generational and cultural differences.
    • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills; communicating effectively and with empathy and humility.
    • Able to work both independently and collaboratively, and in stressful situations.
    • Accepts accountability and responds appropriately to the needs of others.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, i.e., spreadsheets, databases, presentations, computer systems, electronic mail.
    • Prepare annual budgets for Human Resources and Marketing.
    • Assess and improve HR processes and services to ensure ongoing efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Work with managers regarding employee related issues. Assist management regarding appropriate disciplinary action; facilitate terminations as warranted.
    • Conduct investigations of harassment claims.
    • Assist managers in preparation of job descriptions / job skills and competencies; maintain current job descriptions and competencies for all positions;
    • Coordinate annual performance evaluation process.

     

     

     

    Job Type: Full-time

     

     

    Salary: $73,514.55 - $104,000.00 per year
