Mammography Technologist- Perm

American Consultants has a need for a permanent Mammography Technologist with a Women's Center in New York

Responsibilities:
\- Perform mammography scans on patients in a hospital or medical imaging center
\- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure
\- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images
\- Operate mammography equipment and adjust settings as needed
\- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images
\- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
\- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:

\- Licensed with the NYS Department of Health
\- Must be a certified Mammography Technologist
\- Experience working in an emergency room (ER) setting is preferred
\- Strong knowledge of mammography procedures, equipment, and techniques
\- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
\- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
\- Attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition and interpretation
