    Job Description

    American Dawn Inc., industry leader in the textile manufacturing and distribution business is seeking a candidate for the purchasing department at our corporate office. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to learn and grow with the company as they will be exposed to all aspects of import purchasing. This position will be reporting to the Director of Purchasing.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Send Purchase Order requirement to vendors and update pricing and ship dates in the system accordingly.
    • ASN uploads. This includes checking PO, pricing, adjusting and adding quantities as needed, and checking ETA of shipments.
    • Create labels for files and filing.
    • Payable input.
    • Matching/ cross checking invoices for checks and ACH on a weekly basis.
    • Send product samples as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 1 year in a purchasing position or equivalent.
    • Capable of time management and meeting deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Oracle or other ERP systems experience is preferred.
    • Manufacturing and distribution industry experience is a plus.
