    Job Summary

    We're seeking a surgical assistant with at least 3 years of experience. However, we're also committed to providing comprehensive training to the ideal candidate, ensuring they thrive in their role. Our practice offers unique opportunities, such as IV Sedation during dental implant, All on 4, tissue grafting, and 3rd molar procedures. Our team is dedicated to continuous learning and growth.

    The surgical assistant must be available to start work between 6:30 am and 7:45 am. Travel between offices is required based on the office's needs. The top of our pay scale candidate will be able to execute the following:

    Responsibilities

    Assisting the dentist

    Taking dental radiographs.

    Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties and answering patients' questions

    Ensures accurate patient records (treatment planning, medical history)

    Takes dental impressions

    Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.

    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Prepares treatment rooms including decontamination, sterilization, cleaning handpieces and room, restocks supplies

    Experience working in a sterile surgical environment

    Enjoy a fast-paced practice and be able to multitask well

    Very comfortable assisting IV sedation cases.

    Excellent attitude and willingness to learn new things regardless of experience. Attitude and enthusiasm are essential.

    Qualifications

    Dental: 2 year (REQUIRED)

    Radiology License (REQUIRED)

    Nitrous Certification (Preferred)

    CPR/BLS Certified (Preferred)
