    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the growing array of digital marketing initiatives at Earth Fare. This includes coordinating the content across Earth Fare’s website, blog, email, text, and a variety of online advertising platforms. Working in close collaboration with the Digital and Marketing teams, the ideal candidate will drive a best-in-class digital experience for our customers by  representing Earth Fare on digital platforms, and supporting wider marketing initiatives as they need to be broadcast in the digital space. This position has the opportunity to grow along with Earth Fare’s digital capabilities. Attention to detail and multitasking are essential to success. A passion for digital marketing and Earth Fare’s brand are also a must have for any successful candidate.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Digital Communications Coordination & Content Management

      1. Schedule and deploy all Earth Fare customer email newsletters and text messages.
      2. Upload, schedule and maintain Earth Fare customer digital app promotions.
      3. Work with Marketing team to ensure coordinated timing and messaging for all Earth Fare customer emails, texts and web communications.
      4. Create and maintain ongoing digital metrics reporting so to inform Web, SMS, and App content and strategy.
    2. Web Support

      1. Assists the Digital team in maintaining Earth Fare’s digital properties, including EarthFare.com and the Earth Fare App.

    Required Skills

    • Passion for digital customer engagement and Earth Fare’s brand.
    • Experience with digital communication management programs, like Email Direct, Campaigner, or Mail Chimp.
    • Experience with website content management systems, like Wordpress or similar.
    • Experience in working with online and business metrics tools, like Google Analytics or Quantcast.
    • Familiarity with Google’s and Facebook’s various advertising tools.
    • Self-starter, motivated to share opportunities for new tactics or experiments.
    • Highly organized and able to implement change on short notice.
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in execution of digital, mobile and social programs.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Experience with food, nutrition, or wellness is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    Required Experience

    ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

    Works in a fast-paced environment that includes flexible and immediate deadlines and time sensitive changes, requiring coordination with a diverse group of internal team members including Marketing, Merchandising, Finance and Operations departments as well as external vendor partners and agencies.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    1. Must be able to work in a professional office setting with extensive computer use on a daily basis.
    2. Must be able to converse with both customers and vendors in a professional manner.
    3. Must be willing to travel on an occasional basis.
    4. Must be available respond to work communications after normal work hours or on the weekends.
