Job Description
Overview: Center Administrator is responsible for managing, overseeing and ensuring the successful administrative, financial and operational aspects of the specific location.
Reports to:Regional Director of Operations/Medical Director/Managing Director
Responsibilities:The Center Administrator responsibilities are as follows but not limited to;
Manage all human resource aspects, including interviewing, hiring, orientation, performance reviews, and feedback, corrective actions, and terminations
Manage the on boarding process for staff and physicians, and ongoing training of existing staff; ensure staff is adequately trained to perform assigned duties safely and correctly
Maintain and adjust work schedules for Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists and Patient Care Representatives. Ensure optimal staffing across functional areas within the center and among other centers
Audit staff time sheets prior to payroll submission
Understand daily billing process, patient payments and batch out
Monitor center activity and patient flow to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Ensure at medical care is delivered in accordance with physician instructions through issuance of discharge instructions and work/school notes
Arrange 90 day and annual evaluations for all staff
Ensure cleanliness of the facility including; exam rooms, lavatories, and all workstations
Become an expert in the registration process, verifying insurances and payment collections
Understand Workers Compensation, No-Fault and Occupational Medicine visits and the registration process
Ensure compliance with policies and protocols. Responsible for compliance in all areas including HR, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.
Ensure center has adequate stock of medical and office supplies and place orders for needed inventory
Regular attendance to ensure efficient center operations; Responsible for facility operations 7 days a week
Complete daily chart review
Schedule monthly/quarterly meetings
Interact with staff and patients and manage all feedback in a timely manner, including investigate and resolve patient and staff complaints, referring issues to others as needed
Salary based on experience and qualifications.
Requirements:
3-5 Years of management experience
2-4 years of experience in a medical facility
RN, LPN or Senior Medical Assistant experience required
Must be able to make independent decisions
Team player and leader
Available one weekend day a week
Strong analytical and attention to detail problem-solving abilities
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
Must be motivational in a positive team environment
Demonstrate exceptional employee and patient interaction skills
Understanding of payroll and human resources
Understanding of scheduling multiple staff members
Proficient computer/software skills
Expert in Outlook email service
