Role: Director Of Operations

2J3O, LLC, an American Family Care (AFC) franchisee is searching for a dynamic leader to oversee the operations of existing urgent care clinics and play an integral role in executing our ambitious growth plans of opening new centers across the Raleigh, NC area.

What You’ll Do:

• Hire and lead an outstanding team of Clinic Administrators (CA’s) for each location

• Oversee the leadership of non-physician clinic and front end staff

• Work with ownership on the execution of future development of new centers; including but not limited to building the team, setting up organizational infrastructure for both one time implementation and ongoing processes and procedures

• Leading the planning, teaching and enforcing of all company policies, procedures and philosophies

• Plan and lead quarterly meetings with ownership, CA’s and Medical Director

• Monthly center reviews to ensure that each clinic is operating at it’s highest level, qualitatively and quantitatively

• Work closely with CA’s & ownership to ensure the financial health of each clinic is in a healthy state (tied to metrics) including, but not limited to the monitoring of timely and efficient billing (AR) and oversight of expenses and costs (AP)

• Work closely with CA’s & ownership on developing and implementing the most efficient staffing and scheduling model for each clinic

• Supervise CA’s to evaluate and discipline non-physician staff for policy violations

• Implement and oversee staff and company compliance with policies and procedures for state with respect to government regulations, and training

• Work with CA’s to monitor clinic activity and patient flow to ensure efficient and effective patient care

• Ensure that medical care is delivered in accordance with physician instructions

• Investigate and resolve patient and staff complaints, referring issues to others as needed

• Ensure compliance with front office procedures and ensure accuracy of financial transactions

• Work with CA’s to ensure maintenance and cleanliness of facility through use of clinic staff and external vendors

• Work with CA’s to ensure adequate stock of regular supplies and place orders for needed inventory

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Four-year college degree preferred, ability to read and write required

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a supervisory role in a medical office setting; urgent care and/or primary care strongly preferred

• Outstanding computer proficiency

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to address/ respond in a clear, concise, and respectful manner – being nice while doing it preferred

• Ability to identify and solve problems, set expectations/goals, and delegate tasks as needed

• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and achieve customer satisfaction

• Ability to laugh at yourself

• Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)

• Understanding of revenue cycle management

• Appreciating a good meal and a good time
