    Job Title: Sales Specialist Location: Moorhead, MN Reports to: Agency Owner

    Job Summary: If you are looking for pay for performance and the chance to advance your career, this position is for you! No insurance experience necessary! We will train you, and pay for your insurance license. Our rates are very competitive, and we are adding to our team.     Our Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving growth of insurance products, including auto, home, and life insurance. Must love people to excel in this career! You will be working with the public all day, on the phone, via email, and walk in traffic. To generate new clients, you will call our current customers; as well as past customers, and potential new customers--to offer insurance products. You will also network and cultivate centers of influence who can refer business to us.

    Must be willing and able to obtain your insurance license. We pay you to study. You will review training material, and go to a class to learn about insurance. We have a 100% pass rate with all our employees during the last 29 years. You don't need an insurance background to pass the test. In fact, none of our past team members have ever come from an insurance background!

    Must also be willing to attend company sponsored training 1-2 times per year. Typically, these are held in Detroit Lakes or Bemidji. You must have access to a reliable vehicle to attend the training. You will be paid mileage and reimbursed for meals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales and Business Development:

    Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

    Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and lead-generation activities.

    Work with clients to listen to their needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.

    Regularly review clients’ insurance portfolios to ensure their coverage remains up-to-date.

    Community Engagement and Networking:

    Represent the agency at customer appreciation events & client meetings.

    Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    $45,000 base salary plus commission.

    Quarterly and year end bonus based on sales.

    Comprehensive benefits package, including single health insurance, dental, vision, and critical illness; retirement plan, and paid time off.

    Ability to leave Fridays at 2pm if agency is on track for sales goals.

    Ability to take every other Friday off Memorial Day to Labor Day if on track for sales goals (paid and does not count as PTO).

    No required evenings or weekends.

    Working Conditions:

    Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday from 8:00-5:00pm.

    Office-based role.
