    Job Description

    We are seeking a motivated and driven individual for our Business Sales Summer Internship position. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in business development, sales strategies, and customer relationship management specific to the metal recycling sector.

    As a Business Sales Intern, you will work closely with our sales team, learn industry-specific knowledge, and contribute to driving revenue growth and market expansion. This internship will provide valuable exposure to the metal recycling business and open doors to potential future career opportunities.

    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, industry trends, and emerging opportunities within the metal recycling sector.
    • Assist in prospecting and lead generation activities, including identifying and qualifying potential clients, conducting outreach campaigns, and organizing prospect databases.
    • Update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate and up-to-date client information, activities, and sales progress tracking.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to clients.
    • Providing administrative support throughout the office.
    • Actively seek learning opportunities, engage in training sessions, and participate in mentorship programs to develop sales skills, industry knowledge, and professional growth.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of the metal recycling industry is an asset.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and contribute to the success of the team,
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
    • Previous sales or customer service experience, even in a part-time or volunteer capacity, is beneficial.
    • A passion for sustainability, environmental responsibility, and promoting a circular economy is desirable.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
