Human Resources Generalist
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and success of our company, American Kids Sports Center. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and employee relations to training and development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, first time employees and a strong commitment to creating a positive and supportive work environment for our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding for various positions within the center.
- Collaborate with Department Leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the center's values while ensuring legal compliance.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development programs for staff, including safety training and professional development opportunities.
- Administer benefits and compensation programs, ensuring accuracy and timely communication to employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work culture that reflects the center's commitment to children's growth and well-being.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus but does not disqualify you.
- Experience working in a child-centered or educational environment is highly desirable
-Experience in Paylocity or Similar HRIS software preferred
Compensation for this role:
$65,000-$75,000
