Job Description

FUNCTIONS

·         Greet customers; route all incoming calls to appropriate parties; locates appropriate personnel to assist walk-in customer

·         Coordinates rentals for gas dock attendants.

·         Responsible for day-to-day operations for the marina including selling slips, RV sites and storage (winter, summer and trailer)

·         Send out weekly new-letters.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY

Public Relations – Marina:

·         Market and coordinate boat storage needs: land storage, boat storage, RV Sites.

·         Work closely with boaters on marina questions and concerns; resolve issues as required

·         Create calendar of events for Marina in-season.

·         Coordinates with all department on weekly newsletters for the marina

Operations – Marina:

·         Create contracts and invoices for marina customers

·         Maintain accurate records of slip/RV assignments, storage locations and other records as required

·         Complete budgeting and financial duties related to the marina

·         Complete general administrative duties in the management of the marina.

Reception:

·         Answer incoming calls according to dealership policy; routes calls to appropriate parties

·         Schedules boat rentals and completes necessary paperwork; submits reports as required.

Marketing:

·         Creates marketing materials as required by manager

·         Monitors and updates all current social media pages

·         Coordinates dealership and marina events/shows; creates maintains event calendar

Account Receivable:

·         Calls customers with past-due balances as required

·         Prepares and mails invoices as required

Personal:

·         Maintains a clean and well-organized work area

·         Follows company uniform policy for professional attire

·         Maintains pleasant attitude towards customers and staff

We represent the best manufacturers in the industry, including Barletta, Harris, Sylvan, Sea Ray. Starcraft, Mastercraft, Lund fishing boats and Mercury motors. Our Dubuque location also has 170 boat slip and 27 slip jet ski slip marina and 88 seasonal camp sites.
