You will have the opportunity to learn: - Developing, building test stations and testing product - Thermal shock and vibration testing - Working with vacuum chambers - -40C or -80C temperatures to +300C - 3D modeling and other rapid prototyping strategies - Product development - Database development - Organizational structure - Quality Systems - How to write engineering test reports - and more Responsibilities: - Running experiments and various tasks while documenting the work - Willing to learn and implement the learning Special Projects Intern Requirements: - Green card or US citizenship status required - Valid work permit - Show interest in Physics or Chemistry - Reading and writing basic English - Good oral communication - Basic internet research and computer skills - Ability to work with minimal supervision Starting wage: $15 to $20 per hour pending experience Hours: Part-Time up to 16 hours per week Benefits: Amazing boss, great flexibility with potential to grow Who we are: AMS is a startup company that provides motors for satellites and other defense markets.
