SUMMARY: Assist operator in operation of the press.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Support operator’s efforts to meet budgeted targets, and bring correct inks to press from ink room.
Remove rolls from rewind, and maintain proper levels of ink, lacquers in sump.
Maintain ink viscosities, and figure out ink formulas or ratios.
Know and follow all safety rules, and check AIB log/SQF logs daily, and read and follow instructions on computerized job jacket.
Assist in registering job and possess the ability to make up flyers.
Actively participates in safety programs and makes safety observations.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
