SUMMARY:

With instruction/direction, assist higher-level Construction/ Maintenance mechanics in providing Construction/Maintenance support to various Life Support Service Departments by performing basic labor tasks as assigned.

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Assisting other crews as required, maintaining safety, housekeeping, sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties.

Requirements:

• Valid passport
• Have basic hand tool knowledge such as hammer, screwdriver, pliers, tape measure, wire strippers, etc.
• Prior Maintenance and/or carpentry/plumbing/fabrication and/or electrical knowledge preferred
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have good communication (English) skills.
• Have ability to learn and follow lockout tag out procedures.
• Must be able to complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work from a ladder and on high altitudes including chicken house roofs.
• Must be able to work extended work week with flex schedule completing job assignments as necessary.
• Must be able to follow company standards, guidelines and policies including but not limited to safety, security and code of ethics compliance.
• Must be able to work at various OCONUS job site locations.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

You must have an active Secret security clearance Top Secret preferred
