Estate & Antique Store Sales Representative

American Rare Coin is an Olympia Washington based business of 8 years. We recently opened an antique/estate sales business, located in the same commercial complex as our coin shop. An Estate Sales Representative should have excellent customer service skills. Being able to effectively communicate with customers, answer questions, and address customer concerns are key to building trust and customer loyalty. The ability to negotiate and close deals is also essential.

Job Requirements (including, but not limited to):

• Must be able to lift 30 pounds
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable source of transportation
• Must have near perfect driving record
• Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time
• Must be able to commute to job sites in Olympia, WA and surrounding areas
• Must have no criminal background

Job Description

1. Working at our antique and collectable store in Olympia WA from 9-5 M-F
2. Respond to estate sale inquiries and then meet with potential customers
3. Negotiate sale prices, terms and close sales
4. Review sales contracts and related documents
5. Develop a strong knowledge of the local estate sale market
6. Review and analyze comparable items to determine accurate pricing
7. Prepare and submit progress reports to supervisor
8. Help manage estate sale from start to finish

Must Have

1. Extensive knowledge of antiques & collectables and their values
2. Excellent communication and customer service skills
3. Strong organizational and time-management skills
4. Knowledge of local estate sale market trends and regulations
5. Proficiency in the use of technology such as computers, digital cameras, tablets, cashiering equipment, smartphones, etc
6. Exceptional attention to detail
