    Job Description

    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Marketing Specialist helps develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels in support of the Bank’s marketing strategy. As a key member of the Bank’s Marketing Committee, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for analyzing data to monitor campaigns and evaluate results, creating and managing marketing collateral, and providing project-specific administrative support to the Manager of Products and Marketing. This position will also participate and assist with community and bank-sponsored events to broaden new business opportunities on behalf of the Bank.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Manages social media platforms including content creation, posting, monitoring and response.
    2. Monitors and responds to Google, Yelp, and social media reviews in collaboration with appropriate departments, including Compliance and Risk.
    3. Composes and posts online content to website using content management system.
    4. Assists with development of sales collateral and marketing materials.
    5. Assists with content development, including blog posts, newsletters and email communication.
    6. Assists with analysis of client surveys and ratings to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    7. Assists business development team with producing and developing RFPs.
    8. Assist in organizing client and promotional events and attend them to facilitate success.
    9. Assists with internal and external form development with other bank departments.
    10. Assists in identifying marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
    11. Maintains marketing files, including packaging design files for archival purposes as well as maintaining compliance approval records.
    12. Manages staff logo-wear vendor and acts as intermediary for employees.
    13. Ensures that ARB logo and branding are used appropriately across all Bank channels; manages all logo requests and approves all logo placements prior to publication.
    14. Works with various departments within the Bank to provide collateral including signage, promotional items, and branded gifts, when requested.
    15. Manages orders for business cards, nameplates and name badges for new hires, as well as for reorders.
    16. Participates in community and bank-sponsored events to broaden new business opportunities.
    17. Ensures all aspects of advertising and marketing are compliant and there are no UDAAP issues.
    18. Undertakes daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
    19. Actively participates in quarterly Marketing Committee meetings.

    COMPLIANCE

    • Complies with all bank policies and procedures and all applicable government regulations including, but not limited to, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, GLBA regulations, staying current and knowledgeable of all policies, procedures and regulations related to the job functions and completing all assigned training on time, requesting additional training as needed to be proficient in all job responsibilities; cooperating with internal and external auditors and bank examiners by providing full cooperation and timely delivery of requested documentation and information; and reporting concerns about compliance to the Compliance Officer to enable prompt remediation.
    • Complies with Bank policies and procedures relating to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) guidance. Report suspicious activity to the BSA Department through a Suspicious Incident Report (SIR).
    • Adheres to privacy and information security policies, and ensure all sensitive internal and external customer information is properly secured and safeguarded. Use secure methods delivering client and/or confidential data by email.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communication, or related field.
    • At least three to five years of progressively responsible applicable marketing experience.
    • Competent using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
    • Competent using Facebook/Instagram Business platform and LinkedIn Business platform.
    • Able to manage databases.
    • Strong written communications.
    • Advanced computer and keyboarding skills to meet production needs of the position.
    • Willingness to adapt to changing business needs, and deadlines.
    • Work effectively under pressure to meet challenging targets/goals.
    • Exhibit a professional, business-like appearance and demeanor; highly confidential and discreet.
    • High level organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills; efficient, accurate and detail oriented.
    • Current driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
