Job Description

Successful candidate will establish, develop, and manage suppliers in China, Pakistan, India and other areas. Must be an extremely responsible person with an entrepreneurial spirit.

• Speaks Chinese and English- Preferred
• Salary range - $60,000 to $100,000 annual
• Travel to China and other countries for vendor relationship development required (50-75% travel).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 5 – 10 years of supplier development and supplier management experience
• Distribution company experience
• Experience with hospitality products

JOB FUNCTIONS:

For Sales and Marketing Department – 80% of effort

• Develop sources for new products
• Negotiate price and delivery
• Define capacity growth potential
• Drive supplier cost control
• Certify new suppliers

For Procurement Department – 20% of effort

• Visit existing suppliers as required
• Monitor order status
• Expedite orders
• Reduce lead times
• Reduce shipping costs
• Follow-up on Quality Control issues
