Well established hospitality supplies company seeking a well-spoken and energetic inside-sales representative.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Calls up customers and answers customer questions and concerns;
- Places customer orders and follows up with customer to ensure delivery;
- Actively pursues potential customers to maximize sales;
- Other sales and customer service duties as required and assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
- Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training
- General understanding or knowledge of the transportation industry
- PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Successful sales experience and experience handling large call volumes preferred
- Experience with distribution company preferred
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Ability to type 55+ WPM
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Compensation is dependent upon qualifications and includes base pay + commission.
