Job Description
Providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
AR collection posting and follow up payment status with vendors
Typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
Provide assistance and support to company personnel
Compile and sort invoices and checks.
Issue checks for accounts payable.
Place checks in envelopes and mail out.
Provide front desk customer service.
File and tally deposits.
Match invoices to work orders.
Process bills for payment.
Open mail and match payments to invoices.
Contact individuals with delinquent accounts
Experience in SAP is preferred
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
Organizational skills
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel
Familiar with SAP software Business One
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
Extremely organized
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Willingness to learn
Able to work Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm
