Role:

• SAP Security Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of SAP Security tasks done by our SAP COE Vendor.
• A key aspect is validating the Security team follows the agreed upon processes for doing SAP security work as we need to reduce # of Financial Audit findings.
• A key capital project is the SAP Upgrade project, this role will lead the SAP Security effort in modifying/adjusting Authorization roles and objects as part of the Technical upgrade
• This position will be a trusted Subject Matter Expert to UPPER MANAGEMENT IN TECHOPS
• This resource will identify inefficiencies in the current SAP Security processes and engineer more efficient/robust solutions to address the issue.
• This position will work with key stakeholders in both the business and IT where needed to deliver SAP Security solutions
• Requirement
• Remote at first but ideally in Northeast Corridor (VA/MD/PA/NJ/DE)
• 5 to 10 years of SAP Security experience.
• 4 years plus of relevant Security experience in both ABAP and Java SAP systems.
• SailPoint and Beyond Trust experience is a must.
• Experience in Corporate Audit process and working with Internal and External auditors
• TECHNICAL AND/OR ITIL, OR EQUIVALENT CERTIFICATION
• Working understanding of Kerboros and Active Directory.
• Experience designing and using SAP GRC
• Requires experience in working with various teams and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.
• Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver one or more IT project(s) on time and within budget.
• MUST POSSESS STRONG COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, WORK WELL WITH OTHERS IN AN INTEGRATED TEAM ENVIRONMENT, AND MUST BE SELF-MOTIVATED
• Ability to learn new technical SAP or related system technologies quickly
