Job Description

· Provides adequate and accurate information relative to the college and its programs
· Qualify applicants for admission who meet the stated college admissions requirements
· Able and willing to travel on short notice, representing the institution at seminars, conferences, and conventions.
· Under immediate supervision to be able to provide routine advice, guidance, and assistance to potential medical students on matters related to the application process, policies, procedures, and documentation regarding the overall admissions process. Provide information on programs and eligibility requirements. Reviews and collects applications and related documentation for compliance and assists in the completion of admissions applications.
· Responsible for maintaining and tracking applicants’ files in the admissions dept. Responsible for receiving applications from multiple sources, updating and maintaining information in the student system, filing application hardcopies and relevant documents, collecting, receiving, and filing additional relevant documents including correspondence sent and received. Logging, updating, and maintaining communication log.
· Logging, maintaining, and regularly updating new student information, following up with applicants by calls, letters, and e-mails. Scheduling interviews and counseling appointments and should be able to pro-actively coordinate between admissions and other departments, including Registrar, Financing, and Accounting. Facilitate accepted applicants/students’ integration into the institution
· Responsible for Collecting, documenting (log), designating, and distributing incoming documents within admissions and relaying them to other departments where required.
· Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues, and problems, and ensure appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the students in compliance with policy, procedures, and legal requirements.
· Take inquiry calls from all potential medical students interested in knowing or receiving information about the programs, including entrance requirements, curricula, academic standards, tuition, logging, etc.
· Able to create and maintain leads of prospective students and perform a regular, proper follow-up utilizing multiple means and resources including, mail, e-mails, phone calls, etc. Accurately classify all inquiries received and update leads generated and account for all inquiries.
· Return inquiry calls (leads) promptly to all potential school students and give accurate information about the programs including entrance requirements, curricula, admissions procedure, academic standards, and more. Follow up on all prospective student inquiries that fail to schedule an interview or fail to show up for an interview. Comply with regulations and standards of accreditation as they relate to enrolling students.
· Utilize approved telephone presentation and interview procedure during the enrollment process. Conduct prospect's preliminary interviews.
· Achieve a minimum number of starts during each semester as determined and set by the institution's Director of Admissions and President.
· Maintain a reasonable conversion rate on all types of inquiries from lead to an interview, interview to application, and application to enrollment as determined by the Director of Admissions and Company directives.
