    Job Description

    American Veterans Group is a Veteran founded Home Care company that has been serving our community and taking care of Senior Military Veterans and surviving spouses for over 18 years. We are seeking Caregivers to become a part of our team across Southern California!

    Our caregivers are Care Professionals. They provide an invaluable service to aging adults. We encourage our Care Professionals to foster genuine relationships with the seniors in our community while providing compassionate care to help keep clients healthy, safe, and happy at home.

    Care Professional Pay & Benefits:

    $17.00-18.00/hr - bi weekly pay & direct deposit

    New Caregiver Sign on Bonus

    Mileage reimbursement (in-visit travel and between same-day visits)

    Cell phone reimbursement

    Responsibilities:

    Assist Veterans Spouse with light cooking, light housekeeping, and laundry

    Assist with driving veterans spouse to grocery store and errands 2X per week in clients vehicle

    Assist with driving veteran and spouse for medical appointments as necessary

    Monitor and report changes in patient health status

    Applicant Requirements:

    Must have a HCA or a minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) and be willing to obtain an HCA

    Have a valid driver's license

    Available for 15+ hours per week during high-volume care hours (7 AM - 10 PM).

    Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)

    Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations

    Must have a device that supports the most up to date version of iOS or Android
