Job Description

American Veterans Group is a Veteran founded Home Care company that has been serving our community and taking care of Senior Military Veterans and surviving spouses for over 18 years. We are seeking Caregivers to become a part of our team across Southern California!

Our caregivers are Care Professionals. They provide an invaluable service to aging adults. We encourage our Care Professionals to foster genuine relationships with the seniors in our community while providing compassionate care to help keep clients healthy, safe, and happy at home.

The Veteran is a non smoker, in need of overnight care on the weekends. Minimum 10hrs/wk up to 30hrs. Shift runs 10pm-8am Saturday. Other shifts will most likely be Sun. Weekday shifts are possible as a replacement for the other Caregivers. He is currently under Hospice care, so CG must be on time and reliable.

Care Professional Pay & Benefits:

$18.00/hr - bi weekly pay & direct deposit

$250 caregiver referral program*

$500 new client referral program*

Responsibilities:

Light Meal prep, Running Errands, and grocery/food shopping

1-on-1 assistance with hands-on, non-medical activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and dressing

Monitor and report changes in patient health status

Applicant Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, HCA, or RN

Have a valid driver's license

Available for 15+ hours per week during high-volume care hours (7 AM - 10 PM).

Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)

Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations

Must have a device that supports the most up to date version of iOS or Android
