    As the Receptionist you are an integral part of the team, representing Summit as the initial contact for many of our customers and business partners. You will provide essential support to the service center by greeting and interacting with customers, manufacturers and suppliers in person and over the phone, as well as completing additional administrative tasks. Strong customer service orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated strong work ethic are what it takes to succeed in this role.     As a Receptionist your Primary Responsibilities include:

    • Answering a multi-line phone system in a timely manner
    • Greeting and communicating with guests and customers in a professional and courteous manner, over the phone and in person
    • Directing calls and guests to various departments and personnel as appropriate

    Additional Support you may provide:

    • Support with billing, auditing, sorting and filing of tickets
    • Assistance with mail and ordering of supplies
    • Ensuring the foyer and corresponding offices are neat, clean and well stocked at all times
    • Assistance with other related duties as assigned and/or necessary depending on the location

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    As an ideal candidate you will possess:

    • A strong customer service orientation
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
    • Time Management Skills - strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
    • Flexibility - ability to effectively adapt to change
    • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
    • Previous experience in basic clerical activities and functions
    • High level of professionalism and patience, as well as being courteous and outgoing
    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Beneficial Skills and Experience to be successful:

    • Previous receptionist experience, particularly handling multi-line phone systems
    • Experience working with office machines such as faxes, copiers and other general equipment
    • Experience with Vistapoint Console and Gmail
    • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) would be beneficial, but not required
